Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation, Recruitment of Tenants for Purchased Rental Housing
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is recruiting tenants for 'purchased rental housing' to stabilize housing for vulnerable groups.
The areas concerned are four regions within the province: Gwangju, Gimpo, Guri, and Yongin. The supply scale is 47 houses.
The purchased rental housing project involves buying multi-family houses and others for low-income residents, renovating them, and renting them out at about 30% of the market price to ensure housing stability. The initial contract period is two years. If renewal conditions are met, residents can stay for up to 20 years.
GH announced the first preliminary tenant recruitment in June for nine cities and counties including Suwon.
