[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Woori Bank announced on the 21st that the third employee bazaar, held to help farmers and small business owners struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and typhoon damage, was successfully conducted.
Earlier, Woori Bank, through labor-management agreement to revitalize the domestic economy, held an additional third bazaar on the 10th with a total scale of 1 billion KRW. On this day, the bazaar was also participated in by about 30 affected companies recommended through Woori Bank's nationwide sales headquarters and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation. The bazaar was conducted voluntarily by employees via Woori Bank's internal intranet. The main items sold were regional specialties from Paldo and seasonal agricultural and marine products, all of which were sold out within three days.
