KOTRA Partners with Infomarket to Strengthen 'Global Jeon' Capabilities
KOTRA signed a business agreement (MOU) with global exhibition organizer 'Informa Markets' on the 17th at its headquarters in Yeomgok-dong, Seoul, to support the overseas expansion of domestic bio companies.

On the 17th, KOTRA announced on the 18th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Informa Markets at its headquarters in Yeomgok-dong, Seoul, to support the overseas expansion of domestic bio companies.
Through this MOU, KOTRA and Informa Markets will collaborate in various areas including the successful hosting of the 'Bio Health Worldwide Online 2020,' promotion of K-quarantine products and systems, export and new market development for domestic bio companies, global investment attraction, and cooperation in COVID-19 vaccine and therapeutic development.
In particular, the collaboration is expected to show results at the 'Bio Health Worldwide Online 2020' exhibition, which will be held for two weeks starting from the 19th of next month. KOTRA operates 129 overseas trade centers and has global capabilities, while Informa Markets has expertise in the exhibition field.

Ryu Jaewon, Head of KOTRA's Trade Infrastructure Division, said, “The Bio Health Worldwide Online will have 500 domestic and international companies and 1,000 overseas buyers participating,” adding, “We will work closely with Informa Markets to ensure this exhibition becomes an opportunity for the K-bio industry to take a leap forward.”
