Imsil-gun Conducts Hygiene Inspections of Health Functional Food Retailers Ahead of Chuseok Holiday
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil County announced that it will conduct hygiene inspections on 21 health functional food sales establishments by the 18th to ensure the safety of health functional foods in preparation for the Chuseok holiday.
The main inspection items include ▲whether health functional foods are sold without reporting or past their expiration date ▲violations of false, exaggerated, or defamatory labeling and advertising ▲hygiene management of sales facilities and workers ▲compliance with business operator obligations ▲and adherence to other related laws and regulations.
In particular, this inspection will also guide compliance with quarantine rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19, taking the lead in quarantine activities for the safety of county residents.
Minor issues found on-site during the inspection will be immediately corrected through administrative guidance, and establishments that intentionally and repeatedly violate regulations will be subject to administrative measures and criminal charges.
