Two Academy Instructors Detained and Sent to Prosecution for Beating and Confining Private Tutoring Students
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Academy instructors who beat and confined a student attending a boarding tutoring session with sticks and other objects have been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 16th, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced that they had sent two people, including Mr. A, a 30-year-old academy director, and Mr. B, a 20-year-old instructor, to the prosecution in custody on charges of special assault and confinement.
They are accused of habitually abusing a student attending boarding tutoring for four months since last February by beating him with sticks and fists, claiming the student lied.
The victim student is understood to have submitted a medical certificate to the police diagnosing injuries requiring five weeks of treatment.
