Gyeongnam National University and Kumoh National Institute of Technology Sign MOU for Smart Factory Workforce Development

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] On the 16th, the LINC+ Challenger Project Group of Gyeongnam National University announced that it signed a business agreement with the 4th Industrial Revolution Innovation Leading University Project Group of Kumoh National Institute of Technology at the Big Data Seminar Room in the Industry-Academic Cooperation Building to foster specialized personnel for smart factories.
At the signing ceremony, Kang Jae-gwan, Vice President of Industry-Academic Cooperation at Gyeongnam National University, Kwak Ho-sang, Head of the 4th Industrial Revolution Innovation Leading University Project Group at Kumoh National Institute of Technology, as well as Han Sang-bo, Head of Industry-Academic Cooperation at Gyeongnam National University, professors Shin Jeong-hwal, Oh Yoon-sik, Lee Jae-gon, Kim Jin-ho, Jeon Dong-san, and related officials attended.
According to the agreement, both institutions promised to foster specialized personnel for smart factories by ▲ mutual information exchange for innovation of educational courses ▲ joint operation of programs such as seminars, special lectures, and workshops for innovation of educational methods and environments ▲ mutual development and cooperation enhancement including faculty and student exchanges.
Kwak Ho-sang, Head of Kumoh National Institute of Technology’s project group, stated, “We agree on the necessity of establishing a mutual cooperation system to foster specialized personnel for smart factories, and we will do our best to strengthen cooperation between the two universities.”
