View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Changwon National University announced on the 16th that it has signed a business cooperation agreement with Gyeongnam Technopark aimed at regional development and youth job creation through the establishment of an industry-academia cooperation ecosystem in the Gyeongnam area.
The business agreement ceremony was held online via a video conferencing system to practice social distancing measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to this agreement, both institutions will actively cooperate on ▲ mutual information exchange regarding business and technical cooperation in industry-academia collaboration ▲ joint use of personnel, information, and facility equipment ▲ matters related to field training and employment/entrepreneurship to enhance students' capabilities ▲ continuous exchange and cooperation between institutions for nurturing core personnel in manufacturing innovation and expanding related jobs, as well as developing projects for joint advancement ▲ and other mutual cooperation matters for fostering companies in the Gyeongnam region.
Going forward, Changwon National University and Gyeongnam Technopark plan to continuously conduct field training or internship programs to improve students' practical skills.

Lee Jae-hyun, Director of Industry-Academia Cooperation at Changwon National University, and Ahn Wan-gi, Director of Gyeongnam Technopark, explained, “Through this agreement, we will strengthen collaboration between universities and regional institutions related to the Regional Innovation Platform project starting this year, and continuously cooperate in nurturing talent and R&D innovation tailored to the characteristics of our region.”
