[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Hanwha Systems is showing strong performance following the news that it has been selected as the final preferred negotiator for the development project of the Combat Management System (CMS) and Multifunction Radar (MFR) for the Korean next-generation destroyer.
At 10:40 AM on the 16th, Hanwha Systems was trading at 13,550 KRW, up 12.81% from the previous session. During the day, Hanwha Systems surged to 14,800 KRW, setting a new 52-week high.

On this day, Hanwha Systems announced that it had been selected as the final preferred negotiator for the development project of the Combat Management System and Multifunction Radar (MFR), which will serve as the brain of the Korean next-generation destroyer (KDDX). The project scale is approximately 670 billion KRW, accounting for about 60% of Hanwha Systems’ defense sector sales in the previous year.
