Shinsegae Baek Sikore, Engages with 'MZ Generation' through First Live Broadcast of the Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinsaegae Department Store's beauty select shop 'Chicor' is communicating with the MZ generation by leading its first live commerce content of the year.
On the 17th and 22nd, over two sessions, it will introduce makeup secrets and skincare tips for under the mask, which have gained customers' interest due to the normalization of mask-wearing, through about an hour-long broadcast. Through the live broadcast, viewers can purchase representative products that were popular at Chicor in the first half of this year along with the host's explanations.
First, on the 17th at 8 PM, Chicor will meet the MZ generation for one hour with the theme "Complete your makeup in 10 minutes with Chicor's best representative products!" in collaboration with the mobile live commerce platform Grip. Anyone can easily participate in the live broadcast by simply installing the Grip application on their smartphone.
During the broadcast, viewers can check out the most popular products at Chicor in the first half of this year, including Urban Decay, Hera, L'Occitane products, Shinsaegae Department Store's own cosmetics brand Onoma, and Chicor's own color cosmetics Makeup Collection. Supermodel Lee Seonjin will host the show, providing product information, makeup tips, and answering viewers' questions in real time.
Then, on the 22nd at 7 PM, communication will continue through the live commerce application 'Source Live' with the theme "Corona eye makeup that shines brilliantly over the mask." Beauty expert Kim Jiwon will appear and engage in interactive communication with customers about point makeup created using a total of seven products including Stila, Suadore, Onoma, and Chicor Makeup Collection.
To commemorate the first live commerce event targeting domestic customers, special benefits have been prepared. During the one-hour broadcast, the 'top buyer' who makes the most purchases and customers who purchase first from each brand will be selected to receive Chicor Makeup Collection products worth approximately 120,000 KRW as gifts. Additionally, a lucky draw quiz event will be held during the broadcast, offering various popular products.
