SSG.com to Early Pay 45 Billion KRW in Supply Payments to Partners
Plan to complete payments by the 28th, advancing payment dates from a minimum of the 10th to a maximum of the 17th
Win-win measure considering increased expenses such as bonuses ahead of the nation's biggest holiday
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] SSG.com announced on the 16th that it will advance the payment of delivery fees worth 45 billion KRW to its partner suppliers ahead of Chuseok. All payment recipients are small and medium-sized partner companies, totaling about 8,000 firms.
SSG.com plans to pay all delivery fees to each small and medium-sized partner company by the 28th, before the start of Chuseok. This decision will advance the payment date by at least 10 days and up to 17 days.
Choi Woo-jung, CEO of SSG.com, said, “We consider all small and medium-sized partner companies as important partners who are overcoming difficult times together,” and added, “We will continue to support the sales channels of our partners for mutual growth in various ways.”

Earlier, Shinsegae Group announced that Emart, Shinsegae, and Emart Everyday would advance the payment of delivery fees totaling 190 billion KRW to about 2,000 partner companies.
