According to Gwangju Metropolitan City, a woman in her 50s, Ms. A, residing in Maegok-dong, Buk-gu, was diagnosed positive on the day and classified as Gwangju case number 483.
Ms. A was tested the previous day and received a positive result, and the route of infection is currently under investigation.
As of now, 124 patients are undergoing treatment, 356 have recovered and been discharged, and 3 have died.
A total of 142,826 people have been tested, with 141,527 testing negative, and 816 tests are still in progress.
