Three Major Telecoms Launch Chat+ Based Enterprise Messaging Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus have jointly launched 'Chatting+,' an enterprise messaging service that enables person-to-person text messaging, group chats, and large file transfers.
According to industry sources on the 15th, Chatting+ currently has about 25 million users. The newly launched enterprise messaging product offers ▲ 11 message formats selectable by the sender ▲ new services such as verifying information with a company logo without saving phone numbers. Among the newly added message formats, the most notable is the slide-type message. Slide-type messages allow the received message to be swiped left or right. Unlike traditional texts, it offers higher readability. Each message can use up to six cards, and each card can have a different image.
By introducing buttons with embedded URLs, users can move to web pages or install apps with a single click. Additional features such as ▲ map sharing and location sending ▲ calendar event registration ▲ automatic copying of specific phrases ▲ making phone calls are also provided to enhance message usability.
