Seoul Gangseo-gu '2021 College Admission Early Application Strategy Briefing' Held Online
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) will hold an online "2021 College Admission Early Decision Application Strategy Seminar" containing the latest admission information to support examinees who may be anxious as the early application period approaches.
Recently, due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, the university admission schedule was delayed from November to December, and face-to-face events such as university-specific on-site briefings and college fairs provided to examinees were canceled due to social distancing measures, causing confusion among examinees.
Accordingly, the district prepared an online seminar containing useful information such as the latest admission trends to somewhat alleviate the concerns of confused examinees and their parents.
The "College Admission Early Decision Application Strategy Seminar" will be held live on Gangseo-gu Office's YouTube channel iGangseoTV for two hours from 3 PM to 5 PM on the 18th.
This seminar will feature an in-depth lecture by Lee Man-gi, Director of Uway Education Evaluation Research Institute, on the 2021 early decision application strategies and non-face-to-face interview strategies.
The main lecture contents include the evaluation criteria for student records (curriculum and comprehensive evaluation), minimum CSAT requirements, final review of self-introduction letters, and analysis of the September nationwide mock exam for the 2021 early admission strategies.
In particular, it will also cover final check skills for early decision application strategies such as essay screening, university-specific tests and non-face-to-face interview preparation methods, the eight major variables of the 2021 admission, finding schools with gaps, and strategies to cope with COVID-19 impacts.
Additionally, a separate Q&A session via comments will be provided in real time to resolve questions from examinees and parents.
Anyone interested, including examinees and parents preparing for early decision application submissions on the 23rd, can attend.
