UAE National AI University Collaborates with Israel's Weizmann Institute on AI Research
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel's Weizmann Institute have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate in the field of AI.
UAE state-run WAM news agency reported on the 13th (local time) that the two sides signed the MOU, explaining, "This is the first time that higher education institutions have established a cooperative relationship since the two countries signed a peace agreement to normalize relations on the 13th of last month."
Both parties agreed to jointly advance the development and utilization of AI based on the MOU.
