Uiseong-gun Establishes Dedicated 'Airport Division' for Daegu-Gyeongbuk Integrated New Airport

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk, included in the site for the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Integrated New Airport relocation, established a new Airport Division on the 14th, consisting of three teams: Airport Planning, Support, and Development, and has begun preparations for the new airport construction.
According to Uiseong-gun on the 13th, along with the establishment of the new Airport Division composed of three teams, the previously existing Pilot Village Development Division, which coordinated airport-related tasks, was integrated into the Regional Regeneration Division. Uiseong-gun expects that this organizational restructuring will elevate the status and enhance the expertise of the organization responsible for the integrated new airport.
