"EU 10 Countries Accommodate 400 Minors at Fire-Damaged Greek Refugee Camp"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Among the European Union (EU) member countries, 10 nations have recently agreed to take in 400 minors from a refugee camp in Greece that was completely destroyed by a large fire.
On the 11th (local time), Horst Seehofer, Germany's Minister of the Interior, announced this at a joint press conference with Margaritis Schinas, Vice President of the European Commission.
He stated that Germany and France would each accommodate approximately 100 to 150 of the 400 minors.

The Moria refugee camp on Lesbos Island in Greece was mostly burned down by a large fire on the 8th. Although the Moria camp has a maximum capacity of 2,757 people, currently more than four times that number, about 12,600 people, are living there.
