Chiwoo Changwon City Council Chair Joins 'COVID-19' Overcome Stay Strong Campaign
On the 11th, Lee Chi-woo, Chairman of the Changwon City Council in Gyeongnam, participated in the "Stay Strong" campaign to support overcoming and early termination of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

This campaign was carried out upon the nomination of Kim Ha-yong, chairman of the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council, and Chairman Lee nominated the next participants as Lee Ho-young, president of Changwon National University, Moon Bong-do, chairman of Uiryeong County Council, and Shim Jae-hwa, chairman of Sancheong County Council.
The campaign was started by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs last March to spread solidarity messages for overcoming COVID-19 worldwide. Participants post photos holding signs with messages of overcoming COVID-19 on social networking services (SNS) and nominate three next participants.

Chairman Lee said, “Many people are currently experiencing difficulties. I hope COVID-19 will end as soon as possible, and the Changwon City Council will do its best to overcome COVID-19.”
