The Waterworks Headquarters has been promoting a local water supply facility construction project worth 7 billion KRW since the opening of the Muui Bridge in April last year.
As the first phase, construction was completed on a 5.7 km section out of the planned 14 km water pipeline on Muui-do by last month, and tap water supply is scheduled to begin this month for 130 households in Keunmuri Village and Silmi Amusement Park on Muui-do.
Additionally, in connection with the ongoing road development project, facility construction such as the construction of the Muui water reservoir will be carried out step-by-step to enable tap water supply to the entire Muui-do area by the end of next year.
