Hosted by Seogwipo & Bucheon FC Korea High School Football Federation and organized by Hapcheon County, the tournament featured 24 teams, where high school players who will lead the future of Korean football showcased their honed skills without reservation.
The final match, broadcast nationwide on the SPOTS sports channel and YouTube on the 10th, began with a showdown between Jeju Seogwipo and Bucheon. After a close match that extended into overtime, Jeju Seogwipo defeated Bucheon 3-1 to claim the championship trophy.
Before the awards ceremony that day, the Korea High School Football Federation donated flood recovery funds to Hapcheon County, delivering warm support to the local community struggling with COVID-19 and flood damage.
Meanwhile, the High School Federation and Hapcheon County switched to matches without spectators to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and ensure the safety of the players, conducting live broadcasts of all games.
Additionally, disinfection personnel were promptly deployed to the players' vehicles to shorten disinfection procedures, facilitating the smooth progress of the matches, earning praise for meticulous tournament management.
