Actor Special Exhibition Lead Selected... Six Representative Works Screened
Actor Jo Jin-woong will participate as the special guest actor at the 18th Florence Korean Film Festival, held on the 23rd (local time). His agency, Saram Entertainment, announced on the 10th that "six representative works, including 'Black Money,' will be showcased." Riccardo Zelli, the executive director, said, "Jo Jin-woong is a new actor representing Korea," and added, "We want to enjoy the excellent works he has participated in together with the Italian audience." Hosted by the Taegukgi-Toscana Korea Cultural Association, this film festival has played a role in promoting Korean films in Italy. Originally scheduled to be held in March, it was postponed due to the spread of COVID-19. Jo Jin-woong has been recognized for his outstanding acting skills, winning the Special Mention for Best Actor at the 24th Fantasia International Film Festival on the 2nd. He stated, "Korean cinema is of the highest global standard," and added, "I will do my best not to disgrace the hard work and efforts of my seniors."
