The rapid spread of COVID-19 in India is mainly due to most people living in densely populated environments and the failure to adhere to preventive measures such as social distancing. Additionally, the authorities are focusing on 'reviving the economy,' which was devastated by lockdown measures, rather than on quarantine efforts, showing little effort to curb the spread of COVID-19.
