Gochang-gun Imposes 50,281 Cases of Regular Property Tax for September
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 10th that it has imposed 50,281 cases of regular September property tax totaling 3.56 billion won and sent out the tax bills.
This property tax was imposed on landowners (excluding residential accessory land) and homeowners (for property tax amounts exceeding 200,000 won) within the jurisdiction as of the tax base date of June 1.
Payments can be made from the 16th of this month until the 5th of next month.
The amount of property tax imposed in Gochang-gun for September increased by 6.49% compared to the previous year. The rise in individual publicly announced land prices (6.28%) and individual house prices (4.38%) are analyzed as the main factors for the increase.
Property tax can be paid conveniently from home or workplace without visiting financial institutions by using internet payment, virtual account transfer, automatic transfer, etc. Even without a tax notice, payment is possible at bank CD/ATM machines using domestic credit cards (bankbooks).
