[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] Iksan City, Jeonbuk, signed an investment agreement and sales contract on the 8th with Daitokisuko Co., Ltd. and HS Materials Co., Ltd. for investment in the Iksan 3rd General Industrial Complex.
Attending the agreement ceremony held at Iksan City Hall were Seo Jong-sul, director of Daitokisuko Co., Ltd., Yoo Han-don, CEO of HS Materials Co., Ltd., Jeong Heon-yul, mayor of Iksan, Yoo Jae-gu, chairman of the Iksan City Council, and Woo Beom-gi, political vice governor of Jeollabuk-do.
HS Materials Co., Ltd., which signed the investment agreement and sales contract for new investment on this day, plans to invest about 28 billion KRW by 2021 on a 41,339.5㎡ site in the Iksan 3rd General Industrial Complex, expecting an employment effect of about 30 people.
Established in July this year, HS Materials Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Hansol Chemical Co., Ltd., with the main business purpose of producing and selling products in the electronic materials field. After establishing a business base centered on electronic materials, the company plans to further strengthen its competitiveness in the future by discovering additional business items.
Also, Daitokisuko Co., Ltd., which signed an investment agreement for expansion investment, plans to invest 15.7 billion KRW by 2021 in a total area of 2,200㎡ in the Iksan 3rd General Industrial Complex and newly employ about 15 people.
Daitokisuko Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Kyungin Yanghaeng Co., Ltd. and Japan's Daito Chemix Corporation, producing photosensitive materials, the core raw materials of photoresist used in the manufacture of fine patterns for displays and semiconductors. The company decided to expand investment to proactively respond to the expansion of the OLED and semiconductor industries.
