At the meeting, Kim Jin-sun, Director of the Administrative Management Bureau, reported on the 'Pilot implementation of telecommuting in response to the phased social distancing measures for COVID-19,' and Lee Deok-su, Director of the Construction and Transportation Bureau, reported on 'Pre-disaster preparedness for typhoons and other disasters.'
Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, "Residents are going through a difficult time due to strengthened social distancing measures caused by the spread of COVID-19," and emphasized, "Employees should do their best in their assigned duties to overcome difficulties together with the residents."
In particular, he stated, "Although COVID-19 cases rapidly increased and then somewhat subsided, they continue to occur steadily," and urged, "Do not let your guard down, thoroughly promote quarantine rules to residents, and employees must take the lead and comply with the quarantine guidelines."
