Daegu City Signs Business Agreement to Support Small Business Recovery and Create Jobs for Middle-Aged Workers

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] On the 7th, Daegu City announced on the 8th that it signed a 'non-face-to-face business agreement' with the Daegu Regional Employment and Labor Office, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, Small Enterprise and Market Service Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters, and Daegu Middle-aged Job Hope Center.
This business agreement was prepared to strengthen the cooperation system with related organizations to support the stable recovery of small business owners facing management difficulties due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to create jobs for middle-aged people.
Through this agreement, Daegu City will be responsible for providing employment services such as job seeker registration, counseling, and job placement for small business owners wishing to transition to wage workers, promoting the Hope Return Package project, and guiding and supporting the support projects of partner organizations.
The Daegu Regional Employment and Labor Office will provide support and guidance linked to the Employment Success Package program and cooperate in supporting companies hiring wage workers, while the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration will carry out tasks to support the recovery of small business owners, discover nurturing policies, and identify and prepare support measures for small business owners' difficulties.
The Small Enterprise and Market Service Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters will operate the small business owner recovery support project (Hope Return Package), cooperate on small business owner policies for linkage and cooperation among related organizations, and the Daegu Middle-aged Job Hope Center will mutually cooperate to promote the operation of middle-aged reemployment programs, provide customized employment services, and support linkage with the New Middle-aged Life 3rd Act Package program.
