Naver Achieves Highest Grade in Win-Win Growth Index for 4 Consecutive Years
Highly Praised for Driving SME Startup and Growth
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Naver announced on the 8th that it received the highest grade, the Best grade, in the '2019 Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation'.
Naver, having been selected as an 'Honorary Best Company' for receiving the Best grade for three consecutive years as the first internet platform last year, was honored to receive the highest grade for four consecutive years by receiving the Best grade again in this year's evaluation.
Naver was recognized for operating effective win-win growth programs, such as paying partners' settlement payments in cash within 10 business days, supporting low-interest loans, and providing free online and offline management consulting to help partners maintain stable businesses.
It was also positively evaluated for driving the startup and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through its technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data. Naver operates the platform 'Smart Store,' where anyone can start an online business without commission fees, and provides the big data-based statistical tool 'Biz Advisor' for use by any business operator. Currently, the number of Smart Store openings has reached about 360,000.
