On the 7th, various speculations about the occurrence of Typhoon No. 11 'Noeul' following Typhoon 'Haishen' have been circulating on internet communities and other platforms.
However, neither the Korea Meteorological Administration nor private weather forecasting companies have mentioned the occurrence of 'Noeul' yet, and there is currently no tropical depression likely to develop into a typhoon after 'Haishen'.
Nonetheless, the Korea Meteorological Administration has predicted that 1 to 2 additional typhoons may affect the Korean Peninsula by October. The agency is closely monitoring the possibility of additional typhoons due to high sea surface temperatures.
The Korea Meteorological Administration stated regarding the occurrence of Typhoon No. 11 'Noeul', "It is currently premature, but we are monitoring the situation closely."
