KCCI Denies Reports of Endorsing SK Chairman Chey Tae-won as Next President
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has drawn a line regarding reports that "Choi Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group, is being actively considered as the next chairman of KCCI," stating that "there has been no concrete review."
On the afternoon of the 7th, KCCI issued a statement saying, "The term of Park Yong-man, chairman of KCCI, lasts until March next year," and added, "The next chairman candidate will be discussed at the chairman's meeting at the end of this year, and nothing has been specifically reviewed yet."
They further explained, "Chairman Park plans to faithfully fulfill his term."
