LS Vice Presidents Gubonhyeok and Gudonghui's Relay Support: "Cheer Up, Flower Farmers"

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] LS announced on the 7th that Vice President Koo Bon-hyuk of Yesco Holdings and Executive Director Koo Dong-hwi of LS participated in the 'Flower Bucket Challenge' to support flower farmers who are going through difficult times due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Vice President Koo currently serves as the head of the Future Business Division at Yesco Holdings, seeking new growth engines for Yesco, which primarily operates in city gas. Executive Director Koo is in charge of the Value Management Division at LS Holdings, responsible for diagnosing the overall business value of the group, analyzing future value, and proposing solutions.
On the day, Vice President Koo and Executive Director Koo delivered flower baskets, purchased in advance from flower farms, along with thank-you cards to about 100 employees responsible for cleaning, security, guidance, and parking at the LS Yongsan Tower.
Vice President Koo said, “I want to send encouragement to flower farmers, small business owners struggling due to COVID-19, and all Korean citizens who are actively complying with quarantine guidelines to overcome this crisis.”
Executive Director Koo shared his thoughts, saying, “It was a meaningful campaign to express gratitude to those who work hard behind the scenes to ensure that there are no inconveniences in using the LS Yongsan Tower.”
The Flower Bucket Challenge is a relay public campaign that has been ongoing since February this year to help flower farmers struggling due to COVID-19. Participants purchase flowers from flower farms and deliver them to welfare facilities or donation centers, then recommend the next participant.

This Flower Bucket Challenge took place simultaneously as Vice President Koo was recommended as a participant by GS Construction CEO Heo Yoon-hong at the end of August, and then Vice President Koo nominated Executive Director Koo Dong-hwi as the next participant. Executive Director Koo recommended Executive Director Seung Ji-su of Dongwha Enterprise as the next campaign participant.
