According to county officials on the 4th, Mr. A, residing in Seongsan-ri, Hongnong-eup, Yeonggwang County, suffered damage including partial destruction of the livestock shed and the death of eight Korean cattle due to a fire caused by electrical leakage from the typhoon in the early morning of the 3rd.
On the same day, Mayor Kim Junsung visited Mr. A's farm to directly inspect the scale and situation of the damage and conveyed words of consolation and encouragement.
Mr. A, the livestock farmer affected by the fire, expressed gratitude, saying, "The sudden fire caused great mental shock, but the warm encouragement I received is comforting."

Mayor Kim Junsung said, "We will promptly assess the scale of damage caused by Typhoon Maysak and do our best to support the recovery of the affected farms. We will also concentrate all administrative efforts to thoroughly prepare for Typhoon Haishen, the 10th typhoon, expected to move north this weekend."
