On the 4th, SBS reported that a report was received about a vehicle driving rapidly in the wrong direction in Ulsan, and the police pursued the vehicle throughout the night but ultimately failed to apprehend the driver.
At around 11:27 p.m. on the 3rd, a driver traveling on I-daero in Ulsan witnessed a vehicle coming toward them in the opposite direction, driving the wrong way. The wrong-way driver narrowly avoided a collision, then turned on high beams and performed reckless driving by weaving through lanes.
Later, near the Cheongok Intersection in Ulsan, another wrong-way vehicle was spotted. The startled driver traveling normally slowed down and moved aside, but the wrong-way driver paid no attention and sped past.
The witness said, "At the moment the road changed to one lane, the wrong-way vehicle came up so boldly that I was so surprised I almost stopped my car," explaining the situation at the time.
After the report was received, the police pursued the vehicle all night but ultimately failed to catch the driver. Based on the time of the report, it is estimated that the vehicle was driving in the wrong direction for over 30 minutes.
