According to industry sources on the 4th, Samsung Electronics plans to offer one of the following to pre-order customers and early buyers: wireless earphones 'Galaxy Buds Live' or a 'Special Case Package (genuine case, wireless charger trio, car mount)'. The Galaxy Buds Live colors can be chosen from Bronze, White, and Black.
While Galaxy Fold buyers previously received 'Galaxy Buds' bundled, this time, not only pre-order customers but also early buyers will receive the new wireless earphones 'Galaxy Buds Live'.
Additionally, pre-order customers will receive a one-year Samsung Care+ subscription, which includes services such as damage and loss compensation and repair cost discounts. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold2 will be from the 11th to the 15th, with the official release on the 18th.
Moreover, purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold2 also grants access to the 'Z Premier Service'. This service offers ▲display damage insurance covering up to 70% of the display price (once per year) ▲one free application of a genuine protective film (once per year), among other benefits.
To stimulate replacement demand among Galaxy Fold owners, a special compensation program will offer 1,000,000 KRW when purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold2. If you return your Galaxy Fold and purchase the 'Galaxy Z Fold2', you will receive a fixed compensation of 1,000,000 KRW. A used device compensation program will also be conducted in line with the launch of the 'Galaxy Z Fold2'.
The special compensation program is limited to the first 10,000 applicants. Applications can be made on Samsung Electronics' website from the 10th to the 11th. Users who have purchased and activated a Galaxy Fold must access Samsung Electronics' website, purchase the Galaxy Z Fold2 unlocked model, and then apply for the special compensation program.
Customers who complete the application can visit the nearest Samsung Digital Plaza between September 15th and 29th to return their 'Galaxy Fold'. The purchased Galaxy Z Fold2 will be shipped sequentially starting from the 15th. After inspecting the returned device, the compensation amount will be deposited into the applicant's bank account starting seven days after the return date.
