Ministry of the Interior and Safety Selected for 'Public Data New Deal Project'... Establishing Health Information Platform

According to Gwangsan-gu on the 3rd, the health information platform is a project to process and open the district's health and medical data and national public health medical data as part of the 'Gwangsan-type Happiness New Deal Project.'
This project was selected by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's '2020 Public Data New Deal Project' corporate matching support project field at the end of last month, securing a project budget of 200 million won, and will be promoted together with private data companies.
Private companies will collect and analyze public health medical data such as information on the elderly population ratio and birth rate, medical resource information such as hospital and pharmacy information, and health behavior data such as smoking and drinking rates. After going through the personal information de-identification process, this will be converted into visualized information and opened on the Gwangsan-gu website.

A Gwangsan-gu official said, "Soon, anyone among the citizens will be able to easily view health information," adding, "We will utilize health data to meet the increasing health demands of citizens in the post-COVID era and to establish various customized health and medical policies that enhance citizens' immunity."
