KB Kookmin Card Provides Financial Support to Customers Affected by Typhoon Maysak
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 3rd that it will provide special financial support including deferred billing for card payments and discounted interest rates on card loans for individual customers affected by Typhoon 'Maysak'.
Under this special financial support, customers who submit a 'Damage Confirmation Certificate' issued by the local government office will have their credit card payment bills deferred for up to 6 months. For lump-sum payments and short-term card loans (cash advances), installment payments are available for up to 18 months.
For long-term card loans (card loans), loan repayment will be deferred through changes in the installment repayment period or grace period. For usage after the damage date (September 2), fees for △installments △short-term card loans △long-term card loans will be discounted by 30%. In case of payment delays occurring after the damage date, late fees will be waived until November 2020.
