According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 3rd, following the confirmation of a woman in her 50s living in Jinwol-dong, Nam-gu the previous day, five more cases were confirmed, classified as cases number 390 to 394.
Cases 390 and 391 are women in their 80s and 70s living in Hak-dong, Dong-gu, both confirmed to have had contact with case 382. Case 382 had contact with case 289, who in turn had contact with case 285. The infection route of case 285 has not yet been identified.
Case 392 is a woman in her 40s living in Sin-yong-dong, Buk-gu, related to a learning materials service. She tested positive in a test conducted before release from quarantine.
Case 393 is a man in his 60s living in Unam-dong, Buk-gu, whose infection route is unclear and is classified as a "dark figure" case.
Case 394 is a woman in her 40s living in Munheung-dong, Buk-gu, confirmed to be related to the August 15 Seoul downtown rally.
