Naju City 'Infertile Couples Treatment Cost Support Project' Online Application Open
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 2nd that it is accepting online applications for the ‘Infertile Couple Treatment Expense Support’ to prevent COVID-19.
The infertile couple treatment expense support project was promoted to help couples struggling with infertility achieve healthy pregnancy and childbirth.
This project supports part of the patient’s own expenses or non-reimbursable costs for couples diagnosed with infertility whose income is below 180% of the median income standard and who wish to have children, to alleviate their financial burden.
Treatment expenses are supported for up to 7 fresh embryo transfers, 5 frozen embryo transfers, and 5 artificial inseminations respectively.
The online application method is available through the one-stop service ‘Mampyeonhan Imsin’ provided on the ‘Government24’ website.
Applicants must complete the application form, attach required documents such as a diagnosis certificate, and obtain spouse consent before applying.
Application results can be checked via text message notification service, and the support decision notice can be printed from Government24 and submitted to the treatment institution.
Kim Young-sik, head of Naju City Public Health Center, said, “We are providing an online application service for treatment expense support for infertile couples who found it inconvenient to visit the health center due to concerns about COVID-19,” and added, “We will strive to provide multifaceted policy support for healthy pregnancy and childbirth, which is happiness itself in married life.”
