Safety Evaluation Research Institute 'Strengthening Toxicity Research' Organizational Restructuring
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] The Korea Institute of Toxicology (KIT) announced on the 2nd that it has carried out an organizational restructuring and personnel appointments.
KIT reorganized the divisions directly under the director and those under the Management Headquarters to strengthen scientific and technological development and research support in toxicology and alternative toxicology studies.
In the previous structure of two research groups and two headquarters directly under the director, a Safety and Security Team was newly established. Under the Management Headquarters, the General Affairs and Accounting Team was reorganized into the Financial Accounting Team, the Purchasing and Materials Team into the General Affairs and Purchasing Team, and the Safety Facilities Team into the Facilities Management Team.
An institute official stated, "This organizational restructuring focused on efficiently reallocating the existing organization."
