DB Group Appoints CEOs for Financial Affiliates... Kim Young-man Named CEO of DB Life
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] DB Group has made executive appointments for the CEOs of its financial subsidiaries.
On the 2nd, DB Group announced that Kim Young-man, Vice President of DB Insurance, has been appointed as President and CEO of DB Life Insurance. Yoon Jae-in, President of DB Capital, has been appointed as President and CEO of DB Savings Bank, and Lee Myung-gi, Managing Director of DB Financial Investment, has been appointed as CEO of DB Capital. These appointments will be finalized after approval at each company's shareholders' meeting.
Newly appointed CEO Kim Young-man graduated from Seoul High School and majored in Business Administration at Korea University. He joined DB Insurance in 1980 and has worked in the Guam branch, product development team, and management planning team. Since 2010, he has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of DB Insurance's Management Support Office.
New CEO Yoon graduated from Gyeongnam High School and Yonsei University with a degree in Business Administration. After joining DB Group in 1982, he worked at Dongbu Construction, DB Insurance, DB Financial Investment, and DB Savings Bank, and has served as President and CEO of DB Capital since 2013.
CEO Lee Myung-gi graduated from Hangwang High School and majored in Economics at Sogang University. After working at Daishin Securities and Samsung Securities, he joined DB Financial Investment in 2011 and has held positions such as Head of Corporate Finance Division and Head of Product Center.
