According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on the 1st, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) announced that the 2021 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) written exams will be postponed by about one month compared to previous years.
Accordingly, the DSE next year will be held between April 23 and May 17.
HKEAA also stated that if there are disruptions to next year's schedule, an alternative plan is in place to hold the exams on July 3 and release the results by August 31.
This year’s Hong Kong DSE was also conducted four weeks later than usual, starting on April 24, due to COVID-19.
