[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] Three COVID-19 cases, including special security guards at Gimpo Airport, have been confirmed in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi Province.
On the 1st, Gimpo City announced that Mr. A, residing in Janggi-dong, Mr. B, residing in Gochon-eup, and Mr. C, residing in Yangchon-eup, tested positive for COVID-19.
Mr. A, a family member of a confirmed case, tested positive while in self-quarantine.
Mr. B is a special security guard at Gimpo International Airport, where cases were reported from the 29th to the 31st, and was confirmed positive after showing COVID-19 symptoms and undergoing testing on this day.
Mr. C is a COVID-19 case with an unknown infection route.
