CJ, Recruiting Entry-Level Employees for the Second Half of 2020... Hiring for 6 Affiliates Including Je-dang and Daehan Tongun
Strengthening Job Competency and Expertise-Focused Recruitment Including Job Performance Ability Assessment and Digital-Based Non-Face-to-Face Recruitment Process
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Amid the uncertain hiring outlook of major companies due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), CJ has launched recruitment for new employees in the second half of the year.
CJ Group announced on the 1st that it will recruit new employees for the second half of 2020 starting from the 7th. The subsidiaries participating in this recruitment are six companies: CJ CheilJedang, CJ Freshway, CJ Logistics, CJ ENM, CJ Olive Young, and CJ Olive Networks.
Applications can be submitted through the CJ Group recruitment website and mobile website. Eligibility includes those expected to graduate by February next year and holders of a bachelor's degree or higher from domestic or overseas universities.
Applicants who pass the document screening will undergo tests, job performance evaluations, and interviews according to each subsidiary’s schedule. Final successful candidates will join the company in January 2021. Detailed information can be found on the CJ Group recruitment website through the recruitment notices for each subsidiary.
CJ considers the competencies and expertise required for each company’s job roles as one of the important selection criteria when hiring new employees. Following the first half of this year, the second half recruitment will continue to conduct an internship-style ‘Job Performance Evaluation’ to assess adaptability in the field and a ‘Job Fit’ test for practical job skills.
Also, considering the COVID-19 situation, each subsidiary plans to actively promote online test screenings and non-face-to-face (video) interviews to prioritize the safety of applicants during the recruitment process.
Meanwhile, besides recruiting new employees in the first and second halves of the year, CJ also conducts occasional recruitment to timely hire outstanding talent needed for specialized roles in each subsidiary.
