Moon Jong-seok, CEO of CJ Freshway, held a founding anniversary ceremony at the headquarters building in Sangam-dong, Seoul on the 28th of last month. In his 20th anniversary commemorative speech, he emphasized a paradigm shift in business to the employees and urged them to overcome the crisis and pursue innovative growth.
Although the company achieved meaningful results such as surpassing 3 trillion won in sales last year for the first time in the food ingredient distribution and group catering industry and recording the highest operating profit ever, it was mindful of the growing sense of crisis due to the stagnation of its main market caused by the recent COVID-19 impact.
