According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 31st, firefighters Hong Kyunghyun and Jo Cheolhyun of the Hampyeong Fire Station witnessed an electric wheelchair falling 3 meters down a rice paddy embankment in front of Suyeon Village Hall in Sonbul-myeon, Hampyeong-gun, around 11:20 a.m. while returning after inspecting fire facilities in the area.
The two firefighters immediately reported to the 119 comprehensive situation room, and upon assessing the situation, found that the elderly person in distress, who also had difficulty moving, was in a life-threatening condition.
The firefighters quickly lifted the person in distress and the electric wheelchair to carry out the rescue and helped the person remain stable until the ambulance arrived.
Fortunately, it was reported that Mr. A, who was involved in the accident, is not in a life-threatening condition.
