View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] KEPCO KDN announced on the 31st that Jeong Jae-hoon, former Director of the Power ICT Development Institute, has been appointed as the new standing director.
On the same day, KEPCO KDN stated that, following the resolution of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for the appointment of a standing director, Director Jeong was appointed as the new standing director and assigned as the head of the Power Convergence Business Division.
Standing Director Jeong was born in 1961, graduated from Kyungseong High School and Point Park University in the United States, and joined KEPCO KDN in 1996 as an executive. He has held key positions including Head of the System Business Department, Head of the Gyeonggi and Busan-Ulsan Regional Headquarters, and Director of the Power ICT Development Institute.

He was awarded the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award in 2008 for his contributions to the establishment of facilities at the Korea Power Exchange.
