Joeunsan vs Rim Taeju Debate... Jin Joongkwon "Interesting, This Is Pungnyu"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon called the debate between 'Jinin (塵人) Jo Eun-san,' who gained attention for posting the 'Seven Proposals for Reform' on the Blue House petition board, and poet Lim Tae-ju "true elegance."
On the 31st, Jin wrote on his Facebook, "This is interesting. When you fight like this, it has elegance. Both of you, well done," expressing his thoughts.
Earlier, on the 28th, Lim Tae-ju posted a rebuttal titled "Response to the Seven Proposals for Reform Petition" on his Facebook.
Lim pointed out, "Your sentences were flashy but weak, imitating loyalty but were corrupt (meaning the actions looked improper and bad)," and added, "You invoked the constitution, mentioned political reconciliation, and discussed the king's self-cultivation."
He continued, "At first glance, it seemed plausible but was misleading; it was fluent but deceiving the public. It was petty and forced, trapped in bias. My truth and your truth were so far apart that it was heartbreaking," he wrote.
He then questioned, "Do you still want a world with only black and white? A world that is not unified, where there is dispute in the royal court, in the National Assembly, and in the marketplace?aren't those vibrant opinions what the current constitution desires?" He criticized, "You said to acknowledge the people's desires. Which people are your people? Are you lumping those blinded by greed, who want more despite having enough, under the name of the people?"
In response, on the 30th, Jo posted on his blog, "Your writing is beautiful, but what is inside is ugly," rebutting Lim Tae-ju.
