MG Sonbo, Launches 'Wonderful The Simple Health Insurance' Simplifying Disclosure for Policyholders with Pre-existing Conditions
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] MG Insurance launched the 'Wonderful The Simple Health Insurance' on the 31st, which allows even those with pre-existing conditions to enroll through simplified disclosure requirements.
The key feature is the simplification of disclosure items to two, compared to existing simplified underwriting insurance. If there is no doctor's opinion within 3 months or no hospitalization/surgery within 1 year, even those with chronic diseases and elderly individuals can easily enroll.
This insurance covers the three major diseases: cancer, brain, and heart diseases, and especially provides various coverages related to cancer, including cancer diagnosis fees, surgery fees, hospitalization fees, and chemotherapy, radiation, and drug treatment fees.
It also covers cirrhosis, moderate or higher chronic renal failure, moderate or higher chronic obstructive pulmonary disease diagnosis fees, and severe dementia diagnosis fees, and newly established coverages for diagnosis fees of six rare and intractable diseases and long-term care diagnosis fees (grades 1-2).
It includes coverage for surgery fees for 112 specific diseases, insurance benefits for disability of 80% or more due to injury or illness, and death benefits for traffic accidents involving drunk driving, unlicensed driving, or hit-and-run.
