Monami Launches English Calligraphy Online Class
Collaboration with HobbyPool, the Hobby Lifestyle Platform
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Monami announced on the 31st that it will launch an online English calligraphy class using Monami Deco Marker in collaboration with the online hobby platform Hobbyful.
The class is led by calligrapher Rije, known for her modern English cursive handwriting. Participants can learn English calligraphy techniques using Monami Deco Marker and how to apply them to various items such as daily accessories and home decoration. The 3-hour class video is designed so that anyone can easily follow from lowercase letters to sentence writing, and it can be viewed and reviewed freely without any time limit.
All students will receive a materials kit delivered to their home, consisting of Monami Deco Marker, a Hobbyful online class coupon, a calligraphy workbook, a postcard set, and a postcard stand. The materials kit is available in two types: ‘Basic’ and ‘Premium.’ The Basic kit includes Monami Deco Marker 460 Black and Deco Marker 463 White, while the Premium kit provides a 6-color set of Deco Marker 460. Monami Deco Marker is a water-based opaque marker that shows vivid colors on various surfaces such as wood, plastic, and metal, making it ideal for decoration purposes.
The kits can be purchased on Monami’s official online shopping mall, Monami Mall, and the Hobbyful website. The prices are 35,000 KRW for the Basic kit and 43,000 KRW for the Premium kit.
