Dongjak-gu Provides Secure Jeonse and Wolse Contract Consulting for Young Professionals
Operating a Program to Help Young Adults and College Students with Their First Real Estate Contract... Safe Rent Search for Newcomers, Lease Contract Information Alerts, Nighttime Real Estate Consultation, and More
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) is launching the "Jeon-Wolse Safe Contract Project" for young adults starting their careers from this month.
First, the district will collaborate with the Dongjak-gu branch of the Korea Association of Realtors and exemplary real estate agencies to provide the "Jeon-Wolse Safe Housing Search" service targeting local youth and university students.
Applicants can apply by phone or visit the Real Estate Information Division of the district office from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. The service offers personalized real estate information linked with local real estate agencies and programs such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's My Home and the Seoul Youth Housing Portal, including ▲contract drafting precautions ▲youth housing support systems ▲deposit support systems.
In particular, the district also guides the "Under One Roof Generational Sympathy" housing-sharing program, which connects university students in need of housing with local seniors who have extra space, providing accommodations at affordable costs.
Additionally, the district operates the "Lease Contract Information Notifier" service for local Jeon-Wolse tenants who consent to personal information provision when applying for a fixed date certification.
Upon granting the fixed date certification and 100 days before the lease contract expires, two notifications are sent via text message containing ▲contract fixed date ▲monthly rent tax credit application ▲lease contract expiration date ▲application for tenant registration order ▲information to prevent brokerage accidents.
Furthermore, to assist residents seeking real estate contract consultations, the district office runs a "Night Real Estate Consultation Room" every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. at the Real Estate Information Division.
Every Wednesday, the district offers free consultations on legal issues related to real estate, such as lease disputes, by connecting residents with experts in various fields including lawyers, tax accountants, and architects.
Lee Youngsoo, head of the Real Estate Information Division, stated, "Through this project, we aim to provide tailored services to young adults signing real estate lease contracts around the Noryangjin academy district and university areas, enhancing convenience in daily life and doing our best to protect property rights."
