[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] On the night of the 28th, 5 and 6 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were added in Gwangju and Jeonnam respectively, resulting in a total of 29 confirmed cases in Gwangju and Jeonnam throughout the day.
According to Gwangju City and Jeonnam Province on the 29th, 5 people in Gwangju tested positive in diagnostic tests overnight and were registered as confirmed cases number 358 to 362. Among them, 2 are related to Gwangju Seongnim Baptist Church, and 3 are contacts of case number 204 in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

In Gwangju, community infections of more than 10 people per day have continued, with 39 cases on the 26th, 17 on the 27th, and 15 on the 28th. In Jeonnam as well, 6 additional confirmed cases (Jeonnam numbers 129 to 134) were reported overnight.
