3 Dead and Confirmed Cases in Suwon and Hwaseong... Infection Routes Under Investigation
One person in their 60s and two in their 80s confirmed positive after post-mortem tests
According to health authorities on the 28th, three people in Suwon and Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, were confirmed positive for COVID-19 after dying within two days.

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Three people died within two days in Suwon and Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, and were subsequently confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
A man in his 60s living in Jinan-dong, Hwaseong City (no confirmation number assigned) collapsed around noon the previous day on the streets of Gisan-dong and was transported to a hospital but eventually passed away.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, but after the quarantine authorities collected samples from the body and conducted tests, the result was positive for COVID-19.
Also, a man in his 80s residing in Banwol-dong (no confirmation number assigned) was transported to a hospital around 8:50 a.m. the previous day due to respiratory distress caused by pneumonia at his home but eventually died.
This man was also confirmed positive for COVID-19 around 10:30 p.m. on the same day after a postmortem diagnostic test.
On the 26th, an man in his 80s living in Yulcheon-dong, Suwon, was moved to a hospital due to symptoms such as respiratory distress at his home around 11:25 a.m. but died.
Postmortem test results confirmed positive on the 27th, and on the same day, the deceased’s wife in her 70s was also confirmed positive.
The quarantine authorities have not yet identified the infection routes of the three postmortem confirmed cases.
